Robin M. Scroggins

Owner/Director
Robin is the owner, director, and manager of TCD. Robin has 28 years of dance training, and over 15 years teaching experience, specializing in drill team, dance team, tap and pom. Her award winning pieces range from beginner college and professional levels.
Robin was a choreographer, Lieutenant, and Captain of The Colony High School Topcats Drill Team. Robin was a member and Dance Captain of the world famous Tyler Junior College Apache Belles. Under the direction of Ruth Flynn, Robin had the privilege of choreographing routines for the Belles.
Robin was a Dallas Maverick Dancer for two years. She was selected as a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader and Dallas Desperados Dancer, making her the first dancer to be selected on all three professional Dallas sports teams.
Robin has been the choreographer for several professional dance teams in DFW. Dallas NRG, Texas Rim Rockers, Bally Total Fitness Dancers, and, The Collin County Cowgirls. Robin resides in The Colony, with her greatest accomplishment, her 8-year-old son.
Renee Christian Johnson
Renee C. Johnson has over 35 years in the dance industry. She is a Colony resident, and Dallas native. Renee is a dance major graduate of Southern Methodist University. She has studied Modern (Graham) with Toni Beck, and Bob Beard. Renee mastered Luigi Jazz, with the expertise of Betty Ferguson and David Kirby. She studied ballet with Nikita Talin. Renee was a member of the Dallas Repertory Theater and had the privilege of being the lead dancer in many of their productions.
Renee and her mother organized and toured with the Dallas Metropolitan Twirlers dance group. Some of their pieces featured James Cleveland, the Hawkins Family, and Richard Smallwood. She is the Director of Dance Ministry, and adult praise dance coordinator, at Friendship Baptist Church in The Colony.
Lori Cole-Klimek

Lori has over 30 years experience in gymnastics and competitive gymnastics. Lori received a full gymnastic scholarship to the University of Iowa. Lori graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education and Sports Studies with an emphasis in Health/Wellness. She was the first Iowa gymnast to win Big Ten Championship and won 3 during her career. Her most well known skill was her triple full twist on the floor.
Lori has over 20 years coaching experience. She was head coach of Spirals Gymnastics Team in Arlington, TX. Her teams have won numerous Texas State Championships. Four of her former gymnasts have earned scholarships, and one earned a spot on the National Gymnastics Team.
Lori teaches Kindergarten at Ethridge Elementary (go eagles). She started an after school program at Ethridge called Flip 4 Fitness in 2006. She has designed a more advanced level of this class at TCD, to give all children the opportunity to make fitness as fun as possible. Her greatest accomplishment lies within the walls of her home. Lori, her husband and two sons live in The Colony.
Tiffanie Nicole Spencer

Tiffanie has over 20 years dance training and 15 years teaching experience in step, and hip hop. Tiffanie was choreographer, and Captain of The Lancaster High School Tigerettes. There she received American Dance/Drill outstanding performance all 4 high school years. After graduation, Tiffanie continued to serve as the schools dance choreographer.
Tiffanie has a B.A in English and Sociology from Southern Methodist University, in Dallas, TX. She had the privilege of being Step Master of the prestigious Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority until graduation. Her unique and challenging step style led her chapter to many numerous first place awards.
Tiffanie was lead dancer and choreographer for Do Not Disturb, and other impressive hip hop productions. She has modeled for then up and coming agency First Class Productions where she was able to showcase her dance as well as modeling talents. She is also a former member of The Texas Tycoons Dance Team and the Collin County Cowgirls.
Currently, Tiffanie is an English and Advanced Journalism teacher at A. Maceo Smith High School in Dallas. She also serves as the step team coach, yearbook advisor, and choreographer for the Mr. and Miss A. Maceo Smith Pageant hosted at the school.
Cassie Reynolds
Cassie began dance training at age of 5 here in the colony. She has training in tap, jazz, ballet, funk, hip hop, clogging and baton twirling. She has been choreographing since age 12.
Cassie was also a part of the colony high steppers where she has won many awards in jazz, character, pom, and high kick. She was also a member of The Colony High School Topcats and has performed in the Irving ballet While she was dancing at top hat she performed in the Gotta Dance professional dance company.
In addition to her training Cassie has also trained with choreographers such as Jackie Sleight, Dave Carter, Michael Rooney, Wade Robson, and Kevin Brown.Cassie has also performed for Smirnoff, Miss texas pageant, The Republican Convention, and Bravo entertainment to name a few. Cassi has also performed and worked with Jessica Simpson, Creed, Randy Travis and Billy Gilman. She was also a member of the Texas Rim Rockers, Dallas NRG and Bally Total Fitness dance/promo team.
Jessica Thomas

Jessica Thomas is a recent graduate from the University of North Texas with a B.F.A in Ballet and Modern Performance. While attending UNT, she was privileged to receive the Lucille Murchison Dance Scholarship, as well as perform/tour faculty choreography in New York City.
She has also had the beautiful opportunity to rehearse/perform the reconstruction of José Limón's, "Psalm," for former Company member, Brenna-Monroe Cook. This experience then led her to travel between California and New York studying with the José Limón Company through their Intensives. The humble, transcendent beauty of this technique combined with its organic, technical rigor continues to significantly shape her own movement aesthetic...drawing her deeper to her own sense of being.
Jessica is currently dancing with Contemporary Dance Ft. Worth and Muscle Memory Dance Theatre, as well as, dance short film director, Rusty Hann.
She is so excited to be a part of The Colony Dance...interacting...sharing the compassion...transcendent beauty of movement with others!
Linda Mariani

Linda has invested many years in the Arthur Murray method of ballroom dancing and instruction. Linda is an experienced teacher in group, individual, and couple ballroom dance. Her specialties are waltz, foxtrot, rumba, cha-cha, swing, tango, and merengue.
Linda has had the pleasure of choreographing numerous "first wedding" dances. Her students, even those who begin with two left feet, leave with the basic knowledge and confidence to take to the dance floor! Linda strives to make her classes enjoyable, energetic, and productive.
Linda and her husband Tony moved to The Colony recently from New Jersey to be closer to their only grandchild. The Colony Dance is delighted to have Linda's experience, expertise, and passion.
